“No-one at Galeries Lafayette seemed to know anything about where their Concierge Lounge was and when we did find it, it was simply a small but nicely furnished room with virtually no facilities other than a private bathroom. The TV screen wasn't working, nor was the music system and there were no pastries available as advertised. We managed to get a small bottle of orange juice each but there was very little choice just that or coffee. There was nowhere for us to store our luggage the main reason for booking the experience whilst e shopped so we had to spend almost an hour and thirty euros getting a taxi…”

Montmartre Hill French Afternoon Tea Tasting Tour with Crepes and Macarons

2.Montmartre Hill French Afternoon Tea Tasting Tour with Crepes and Macarons

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 27 reviews · 2 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $114Top rated

Meet at Place Blanche at 2:30 pm and walk uphill through Montmartre with a guide such as Arthur, Catherine, or Fabian. Expect crepes, macarons, chocolate, pastries, drinks, local stories, Moulin Rouge, Place du Tertre, and Sacré-Cœur, with a group capped at 15.

“This tour was phenomenal because of the tour guides knowledge but also her adding a few spots of historical interests. She also answered all of our questions along the way. If you are worried about the climb to Montmartre, there are alternative routes to get there. The shops and food we sampled along the way were incredible to say the least. Watching the crepes being made in front of you and eating them fresh was great. My family absolutely enjoyed them and bought a few for ourselves. I would recommend this tour to everyone.”

A French “Tea Time” in Paris

3.A French “Tea Time” in Paris

★★★★★★★★★★4.4 · 12 reviews · 1 hour · from $34Best value

Meet at L’Epicerie de Loïc B inside one of Paris’s largest covered markets for a one-hour French tea time. You’ll taste Parisian flan, lemon madeleine, chocolate fondant, brioche with jam, and tea or coffee, with a French or English-speaking host in a group of up to four.

“Es gab nur einen Tee zum Probieren. Es war also keine Tea-Time, sondern eher eine "Kuchen-Time", da 5 verschiedene Kuchensorten angeboten wurden. Diese haben gut geschmeckt. Dennoch stellt man sich unter einer Teeverkostung etwas anderes vor, zum Beispiel eine Tee- Zeremonie. Schade!”
