1.Boston Harborwalk & Tea Party Self-Guided Walking Audio Tour

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 17 reviews · 2 to 3 hours (approx.) · from $9Our pick

Use the Action Tour Guide app to explore Boston’s waterfront on your own. GPS-triggered audio leads from South Station past the Federal Reserve, Russia Wharf, Harbor Towers, Rowes Wharf, the Aquarium, and Long Wharf. Bring earbuds and download the tour before you leave Wi-Fi.

“Easy to load and use the app. GPS assures that tour aligns with the user’s location. Narration was interesting and educational. Using the app was far better than walking aimlessly through the city. I’ll be sure to look up additional tours when I’m touring other cities. Highly recommend!”

You’ll also taste three gin cocktails, including Bombay Sapphire styles, as an English audio guide points out sights such as the London Eye and Westminster Abbey.

“A great idea to combine tea time with sightseeing. The food was very good, and the gin tasting made it even more interesting. Due to the classic double-decker bus (without doors), it's more recommended for warmer weather.”
